The Faculty of Communication and Environment is pleased to offer all students access to a new fitness room for self-guided training. Room 06 00 170 in the RAG building is now available for students to train and enhance their fitness at their own pace.

First-year students from the Computer Science degree programmes “Media Communication and Computer Science" and "E-Government" at the Faculty of Communication and Environment in Kamp-Lintfort once again participated in the annual IT competition for first-year students. Here are the winners!

Der Unternehmerkreis Kamp-Lintfort traf sich am Mittwoch, 13. November 2024, im Rahmen der Veranstaltung „Hochschule trifft Wirtschaft“ auf dem Campus der Hochschule Rhein-Waal. Die Gäste nutzten die Gelegenheit, Ideen und Perspektiven auszutauschen, was einmal mehr die Bedeutung der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Hochschule, Wirtschaft und Stadt unterstrich.

On November 7, 2024, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences hosted the 9th E-Government University Day, followed by the graduation ceremony for the E-Government degree programme. The event, centred around the theme "Transformation through AI: How intelligent should public administration be?" and brought together over 220 participants from academia, public administration, and business. A highlight of the event was the participation of Ina Scharrenbach, Minister for Home Affairs, Local Government, Construction, and Digitalization of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, who emphasized the crucial role of qualified young professionals for the digital transformation in public administration in her opening speech.

From October 13 to 18, a delegation from Rhine-Waal University visited Fitchburg State University to deepen cooperation between the two institutions and further strengthen the longstanding sister-city relationship between Kleve and Fitchburg. 

Brilliant autumn sunshine, beaming faces: With a ceremonial farewell in the fully packed Audimax, the Faculty of Communication and Environment honoured 121 graduates on October 11, 2024 in Kamp-Lintfort. Embedded in a festive programme, they received their symbolic certificates with best wishes for their professional futures.

The Faculty of Communication and Environment at Hochschule Rhein-Waal and St. Bernhard Hospital in Kamp-Lintfort have agreed to strengthen their collaboration to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice. This partnership is part of the "Center for Assistive Technologies" project, funded by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), and aims to create new opportunities for leveraging local resources in innovative projects.

The Children's University at Rhine-Waal University for 8 to 12-year-olds is returning for another exciting session! Kids won’t just watch; they’ll be actively engaged in the activities. And who knows, the adult companions might learn something valuable too. On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, we’ll welcome Germany’s probably most renowned domestic science expert, Yvonne Willicks.

Join us for an engaging event featuring insightful talks and discussions with experts from both industry and public administration, centred around the theme: “Transformation through AI: How intelligent should public administration become?” Discover the latest developments in AI technology, its application in the public sector, and the challenges and solutions it presents. On September 10, 2024, the Green FabLab on the Kamp-Lintfort campus once again opened its doors for a company evening. Organized by Miriam Drazek and René König, both research associates in the LabLandschaften team, the event provided a platform for exchange and networking. Municipalities, companies, and members of the university discussed potential collaborations after brief keynote presentations over snacks and drinks.

Exam schedules

The fifth company evening at the Rhine-Waal University will take place on September 10, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Green FabLab on the Kamp-Lintfort campus and focus on a technology that is not only hotly debated but also widely used in various applications – Artificial Intelligence.

In June 2024, Inge de Bo (Ghent University, scientific coordinator of the EU-FarmBook project), Eduard Mauri (European Forest Institute, project partner of EU-FarmBook), and Daniela Lud (Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, coordinator of the impact activities of the EU-FarmBook project) received the prestigious ENLIGHT Impact Ambassador Award. This honour, which comes with a prize of 5000 euros, recognizes outstanding contributions under the main theme "Digital Revolution and the Impact of Digitalization."

In collaboration with the Förderverein of Hochschule CCL and the wir4 Economic Development Agency, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences will launch a regional sustainability initiative for cooperation between business and academia on June 26 at 5.00 pm. The topic of the kickoff event will be the requirements for companies to report on sustainability issues - "Despite or precisely because of the Supply Chain Act and reporting obligations: Sustainability as an investment in business success."

Cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence (AI), and smart technologies have significantly reshaped our work and daily lives. While new investment opportunities in cryptocurrencies offer the potential for significant returns, they also come with substantial risks. AI and smart devices are increasingly taking on tasks for us, offering convenience while also raising concerns about redundancy and loss of control. The disruptive power of digitalisation is becoming increasingly clear. How do we adapt to these changes, and how can we use new technologies effectively? These and other questions will be addressed during this conference.

The 5th Ethics Day at Rhine-Waal University on June 5, 2024, will explore how we can take action on a personal and regional level to address the diverse challenges of the poly-crisis. Through expert presentations and interactive workshops, participants will collaborate to develop solutions aimed at making a positive contribution to crisis management.

The showcase, organized by the Information and Communication Design, B.A., and Design and Interaction, M.A., programmes, will highlight first-semester projects alongside select works from the previous winter semester as part of a meetup. The exhibition will kick off with an opening event on Friday, May 3rd, 2024, 3 pm, at the Schirrhof in Kamp-Lintfort. Following the opening event, the exhibition will remain open on Saturday and Sunday. Everyone interested is warmly invited to drop by!

Climate change poses major challenges to agriculture. On April 19, 2024, approximately 70 participants from associations, organisations, research, services, politics, business, and practice gathered for a workshop on sustainable innovations in agriculture at Haus Riswick in Kleve.

On April 16, 2024, the series of company evenings at the Green FabLab in Kamp-Lintfort continued with the theme "New Work - Shaping Work!" A series of keynote speeches provided diverse perspectives on the topic.

Robot "Pepper" is causing a stir in the media library on Prinzenplatz in Kamp-Lintfort, clearly demonstrating that technology can also be enjoyable. It is not merely a technical device but an interactive companion that playfully blurs the boundaries between human and machine.

In a society that is constantly evolving, it is crucial to question traditional gender roles and create space for new, diverse life designs. This is precisely the goal of the exhibition series "Fathers at the Lower Rhine" by the Gender Equality Office of Rhine-Waal University, which not only addresses private caregiving but also makes it visible in various locations.

As part of a series promoting dialogue between science, business and society, Rhine-Waal University’s Green FabLab hosted another exciting corporate evening on November 21, 2023. The focus of this evening was on environmental issues with a particular emphasis on sustainability.

Once again, numerous first-year students of the Bachelor degree programmes "Media Communication and Computer Sciences" and "E-Government" of the Faculty of Communication and Environment took part in the annual internal computer science competition. E-Government student Marius Bernhard Krause was able to prevail against all fellow students and won first place.

With a ceremonial farewell in the Audimax, the Faculty of Communication and Environment honoured about 116 graduates on October 20, 2023. Embedded in a festive programme, they received their symbolic certificates with best wishes for their professional futures. Even the pouring rain could not spoil the festive mood.

Since  July 1, 2023, Dr Matthias Reintjes has been supporting the team of professors at the Faculty of Communication and Environment. As Professor of Administrative Sciences he has got a special focus on modernisation and e-government.

Since winter semester 2023/24, Professor Nicolas Markwald und Professor Dr Matteo Große-Kampmann have been supporting the team of professors at the Faculty of Communication and Environment.

Great weather and a sold-out event welcomed the team of the Faculty of Communication and Environment on September 9, 2023, at Airport Weeze. Nine members and friends of the faculty took on the challenge of a six-kilometre run and 17+ obstacles.

Impulses from various projects were presented. Afterwards, representatives of companies and communities were able to exchange ideas with researchers. Another business evening in November will focus on the topic of the environment.

An app for better orientation, a Red Panda as a chat GBT or an audio guide that uses GPS coordinates to play texts about the animals – supervised by Professor Ido Iurgel, students from the Faculty of Communication and Environment have impressively demonstrated how digital applications can make a zoo visit even more exciting.

As part of the course "Methods and Tools of Modern Astronomy", students from the Faculty of Communication and Environment went on two exciting excursions led by Dr Monika Marx-Zimmer and Prof Frank Zimmer. One of them took them to the Effelsberg radio telescope, the second-largest fully mobile radio telescope in the world. There they gained exciting insights into the history, construction and functioning of the impressive instrument.

The new radio telescope at Rhine-Waal University is not only a valuable resource for the education of students but also offers opportunities for exciting research and collaboration with renowned institutions. With the support of experts from the Astropeiler Stockert Association - especially Dr. Wolfgang Herrmann and Thomas Buchsteiner - as well as PD Dr. habil. Jürgen Kerp from the University of Bonn, the radio telescope was finally put into operation on the Kamp-Lintfort campus on June 12th, and the first test measurements were carried out.

A project supported by the ZBW - Leibniz Information Center for Economics at Rhine-Waal University enables the "European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies: Intervention (EJEEP)" to be published as Diamond Open Access starting from the first issue of this year. This means that the journal is freely accessible to readers. All previous issues from the past 19 volumes can now also be read without any paywall restrictions.

Rhine-Waal University and Fitchburg State University have further expanded their collaboration. Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kaul, Professor of Engineering Technology, visited the Faculty of Communication and Environment from June 9th to June 19th to strengthen cooperation in the field of renewable energy and sustainability.

On June 21, 2023, the Faculty of Communication and Environment said goodbye to two long-serving members of staff, Professor Dr Anja von Richthofen and Mr. Ralf Postulka, who have worked with great commitment for the education of students and the development of the university since the early days. The official farewell was characterised by gratitude, appreciation and a farewell mood.

The Nitrate Scouts project team develops and tests educational modules on the topic of nitrate in groundwater in cooperation with various stakeholders. On a visit to Haus Riswick, agricultural business management students from the Kleve Technical College for Agricultural Economics got the chance to apply new teaching materials that had been developed by the project team and formulate suggestions.

The symposium "Working with newcomers/ Samenwerken met nieuwkomers" on June 7, 2023, met with an enthusiastic response. Initiated by the Samenwerkingsverband Burgerkracht Europa (SBE), a network of organisations to which Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is an associate partner, the event comprised a total of 14 workshops as well as panel discussions, in which lighthouse projects on important topics relating to welcome spaces and the integration of newcomers were presented.

On Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, the Faculty of Communication and Environment invited all those interested in studying or just curious to the Open Campus Day. The varied, informative programme, the numerous hands-on activities and not least the sunny weather attracted numerous visitors to the campus in Kamp-Lintfort.

As part of the KLIMA.PROFIT NRW project, six companies from the districts of Kleve and Wesel visited Rhine-Waal University to take part in a workshop. The KLIMA.PROFIT NRW project is a model project co-financed by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia that supports companies in an advisory process to acquire competence in dealing with climate change.

Europe is one of the central topics to the anniversary year of Kloster Kamp and will now be addressed in a panel discussion on Europe Day, 09 May 2023, organised by the city of Kamp-Lintfort and held on the University's campus.

The Fairtrade Student Group of Rhine-Waal University supports the Change Fashion campaign which is part of Fashion Revolution Week. It commemorates the Rana Plaza disaster of 24 April 2013, in which the collapse of a garment factory killed 1,134 people and injured more than 2,500 others. Infos

Professor Dr Klaus Hegemann, the previous Dean of Studies, has been in office as the official new Dean at the Faculty of Communication and Environment since January 1, 2023. Professor Dr Petra Blitgen-Heinecke has been newly elected as the Dean of Studies. Vice Dean Professor Dr Georg Hauck and Faculty Coordinator Markus Merkes remain in office.

A team of students from the interdisciplinary course "Applied Innovation Management" at the Faculty of Communication and Environment successfully won second place in the international competition "Digital & Sustainable Solutions for Future Logistics and Transportation of Goods" organised by Robert Bosch GmbH.

21 organizations from 15 countries - The "EU FarmBook" pools expertise on agricultural and rural knowledge from all over Europe in one single database. The EUREKA research group invites all interested parties to join the presentation of the pilot version of the new online knowledge resource on Wednesday, March 16 and Thursday, March 17, 2022, both from 11am to 12pm, aiming to get feedback for future improvements.

Rhine-Waal University’s online application portal is now open and accepting applications for enrolment in summer semester 2022. Prospective students can submit their applications for our master’s degree programmes and the bachelor’s degree in Environment and Energy, B.Sc. until 15 January 2022. The application deadline applies to all applicants regardless of country of origin who intend to commence their studies in the upcoming summer semester, which begins officially in March 2022. Infos

Both the Federal Association of German Employers (BDA) and U.S. elite universities show great interest in the current research of Dr. Nicki Marquardt, Professor of Cognitive, Industrial and Organisational Psychology at Rhine-Waal University.

Every year, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences presents the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) award for outstanding academic achievements and social commitment. This year it goes to Bachelor student Joy Okundia for her very good performance in her studies as well as her commitment to other students and the academic community.

Within the framework of the project "Sustainable Niepkuhlen", the city of Krefeld would like to invite interested citizens to exchange ideas on its future sustainability. So join in for a walk in the area on either October 1, 8 or 31. The Environment and Energy degree programme supports the project in form of a bachelor's thesis.

Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, together with partners in Germany and Europe, has developed Gamelet, a brand new learning software designed to improve the reading fluency of secondary school pupils. Using a media-based, multilingual approach in combination with gamification elements, GameLet will help address deficits in reading skills, multilingualism and media integration. The project is sponsored by the European Union through the programme ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnerships. More

The Examination Board of the Faculty of Technology and Bionics has started a campaign to raise awareness of academic misconduct and attempted deception in general which we would like to support. All members of the academic community - including you as a student - are obliged to good scientific practice and to avoid scientific malpractice. The Faculty Council and the Dean's Office mutually decided that in the light of the current situation in-person examinations during the February examination period are not responsible for students and staff. The Faculty of Communication and Environment again participates in the nationwide Read Aloud Day. To give children insights into their work at university and to read exciting, funny books, Professor Franca Ruhwedel and Professor Torsten Niechoj made two videos - and got active support by a hand puppet and some soft toys. Infos

The dual-vocational variant of the programme, which has been developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitisation and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, will begin lecturing in winter semester 2020/2021. Infos

A new co-operation project with the district of Wesel and students of Rhine Waal University in Kamp Lintfort has been launched. Within the framework of an interdisciplinary project in winter semester 2020/21, five E-Government and Media Communication and Computer Science students will design and develop a chatbot for the internet presence of the district of Wesel. Infos

The Best Idea Cup was the first event in the scope of the "StartGlocal - Global Spirit for Local Start-ups" project organized by the Center for Research, Innovation and Transfer at Rhine-Waal University. Due to the corona pandemic, this year’s ideas competition took place online. Infos

The aim of the project is to improve the innovative ability of companies in the region. The methods will be developed in several stages on the basis of time-limited projects until the end of January 2023. Infos

Floating islands consist of aquatic plants that can enrich and improve the ecosystem. In a cooperation between Rhine-Waal University and NABU-Naturschutzstation Niederrhein, such islands are to be built from sustainable, durable materials using digital fabrication. The Green FabLab in Kamp-Lintfort invites pupils to construct, plant and launch them.

Supervised by Professor Dr. Dirk Bruckmann and Professor Dr. jur. Dieter Kopetz, students of the Faculty of Communication and Environment visited the European Parliament in Brussels and presented their "EU Data Protection App". Some EU member states have already shown great interest.

Due to the successful cooperation with students of the faculty in 2018, the ALTANA Group had again invited students to cooperate in an interdisciplinary project. In January, the second project team presented its results on the topic "Green Logistics - Reducing ALTANA's CO2 Footprint".

It has been the second time now that a group of pupils came to have a day of hands-on experiments at the faculty's laboratories.

Beginning in winter semester 2020-20201, the degree programme E-Government at the Faculty of Communication and Environment will offer an additional, dual-vocational mode of study in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy. Minister Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart and University President Dr. Oliver Locker-Grütjen have now signed a corresponding agreement.

The Information and Communication Design programme once again took part in this year's Frankfurt Book Fair poster competition with students from the second semester. With Philip Martin Pothfelder in second place and Henri Morschek, two students made it into the top ten. Infos

As part of an "Experimental Self Portrait" project supervised by lecturer Kirsten Becken, Information and Communication Design students of the Faculty of Communication and Environment produced more than 30 photographic works, which were now presented to a broad audience in the vacancy of the former Lust Café in Kleve.

In June 2019, the Faculty of Communication and Environment celebrated its tenth anniversary.  Highlight of the birthday programme was the Open Campus Day on June 15, 2019. The 2019 graduation ceremony and champagne reception was a chance for staff to wish all their graduates a fond farewell and much success for their professional futures.

The BPI Challenge is a global competition in the field of process mining for students and companies with the goal of analyzing a real data set in an original and informative way.

On June 18, 2019 students and lecturers of the Environment and Energy, B.Sc. degree programme dealt intensively with the effects of climate change as part of the Lectures for Future initiative and discussed ways of significantly reducing the increase in greenhouse gases in future.

In order to support in advancing their industry 4.0 projects, they are transferred to suitable pilot plants and demonstration factories (I4.0 test environments) across the country. The Rhine-Waal FabLab has now also been nominated for the programme.

The first VISUALIZE event at the Faculty of Communication and Environment was a great success. More than 100 guests took the opportunity to get an insight into the latest trends in interactive data visualization by joining numerous interesting lectures and workshops.

LaserDuo is an open source laser cutter machine that integrates two different laser sources as key features, being able to laser cut and engrave a wide range of materials.

Students of the Faculty of Communication and Environment cooperated with start-up business „Corevas“ in developing a campaign to promote hands-only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).  Three of the works, which were designed during a semester project in the bachelor’s degree programme Information and Communication Design have now been awarded. Building on the success of previous years, the Faculty of Communication and Environment at Rhine-Waal University is now focussing on the topic "Paper Files Go Digital – Change Management in Public Administration Institutions".

On the 14th of March participants discussed how to train children and young adults to be responsible and ethical life-long learners of the digital age. The workshop was organized by the University’s zdi Centre and the “Kompetenzteam für den Kreis Wesel”.

Supervised by Prof. Iurgel, the Faculty's Media Computing Group has again successfully cooperated with theatre producer Max Bilitza. Together with a team of international as well as regional dancers and artists they have developed their second multimedia dance performance which is now going to be part of the 39th "Akzente" festival in Duisburg.

In January 2018 four students of the degree programms "Media Communication and Computer Sciences" as well as "Industrial and Organizational Psychology" visited the world's one and only Green FabLab in Barcelona. The excursion was part of an interdisciplinary project, supervised by Professor Dr Becker and Professor Dr Jörg Tiedemann.

In Cooperation with the City of Wesel, students developed their innovative ideas, supervised by Professor Zielke.The jury has now awarded the winners. Antonios Jansen-Gessas took 1st place.

The new E-Government lab with its state of the art equipment is an ideal place for students of different degree programmes to cooperate with administration or business representatives in developing modern information and communication technology.

Im Rahmen der Feierlichkeiten zu 775 Stadt Kleve hat die Städtische Singgemeinde am vergangenen Samstag, den 10. Juni 2017, zu einem besonderen Konzert in die Stadthalle Kleve eingeladen: unter Mitwirkung von 150 Sängerinnen und Sängern und einem 55-köpfigen Orchester wurde Carl Orffs "Carmina Burana" aufgeführt. Eine besondere Unterstützung erfuhr das Konzert durch Studierende der Hochschule Rhein-Waal.

The interdisciplinary team of the Faculty of Communication and Environment won against other teams from Hamburg, Cologne and Meschede and brought their victory back to Kamp-Lintfort. With their winning project of a computer-generated secretary, the team will now enter the international final with teams from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. All members of Rhine-Waal University will keep their fingers crossed.

Students of the Faculty of Communication and Environment joint the 5th nationwide Diversity Day and accepted the challenge to solve a series of puzzles while simulating hearing impairment.

On Saturday, May 13, 2017, pupils, friends, parents, supporters of the university and members of the general public took part in a diverse and interesting programme of events.

On Friday, 5 May 2017, a delegation of the faculty visited the JRC in Petten, Netherlands, to discuss new ideas for projects and ongoing cooperation.

On April 27, 2017 the Faculty of Communication and Environment welcomed 70 boys and girls to the annual  ”Girls’ Day - future prospects for girls” and ”Boys’ Day - future prospects for boys”.

Der Studierende Deniz Can Ercan gestaltete im Rahmen einer Semesterpräsentation  eines Semesterprojekts gemeinsam mit der Lehrbeauftragten Katharina Drasdo ein Plakat zum Thema „Digitalisierung unserer Welt“. 

Im Rahmen der „Wochen der Studienorientierung“ stellt die Fakultät Kommunikation und Umwelt am 12.01.2017 von 17:00 - 19:00 Uhr ihr Studienangebot und die Einrichtungen am Campus Kamp-Lintfort vor.

Im Dezember trafen sich erstmals Studierende und Mitglieder des Social Departments des AStA um gemeinsame Maßnahmen zu planen.

Dr Frank Zimmer, Professor at the Faculty of Communication and Environment, invited primary school kids of ‘Schule am Pappelsee’ to join a very special kind of lecture.

Professor Dr Frank Zimmer has been recognized as one of the best professors in Germany. UNICUM BERUF, a popular magazine for university graduates in Germany, has selected him as the second best Professor of the Year 2016 for the category ’Engineering / Computer Science’.

The project starts with a survey on regional purchasing behaviour carried out in the city center and on the weekly markets of the different districts in Moers.

Der Studierende Fabian Fritzsche errang beim Informatik-Wettbewerb zur Berechnung von im Computer gespeicherten Zahlen den ersten Platz.

Am 7. Oktober 2016 wurde das Magazingebäude in einer kleinen Feierstunde offiziell an die Hochschule übergeben. Auf einer Gesamtfläche von 1.850 qm fühlen sich nun Studierende und Hochschullehrende wohl.

Studierende der Fakultät Kommunikation und Umwelt in Kamp-Lintfort untersuchten im Rahmen eines Semesterprojekts das Interesse von jungen Erwachsenen an „Car Sharing“.

The foundation ‘Standort- und Zukunftssicherung Kreis Wesel’ provides generous financial support to Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and its zdi Centre for Innovation Kamp-Lintfort in the form of new 3D printers for ceramics and chocolate.

The Sparkasse Duisburg bank supports the acquisition of a 5-axis milling machine in the FabLab Kamp-Lintfort with a generous 8,000 euro donation.

The goal of ‘Mobile - Mobil im Leben’ is to develop a way for people with cognitive or physical disabilities to easily and effectively participate and navigate in public transportation. Dr Ing.- Christian Ressel, Professor of Ambient Intelligence at the Faculty of Communication and Environment, is the Scientific Head of the project.

285 designs from a total of 19 universities were submitted to the 2016 ‘Wettbewerb für junge Gestalter’ design competition organised by the Frankfurt Book Fair. Student Alexander Altrichter’s design was one of ten selected for destinction by the jury.

The city of Kamp-Lintfort would like to find ways to help refugees adapt quickly and easily to their new surroundings. Jonas Hallmann, student at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, has made an important contribution to this effort through his new multilingual app easyl.kamp-lintfort.

The twelfth of fifteen regional qualifications for the 2016 zdi Robotics Competition took place on 7 June 2016 at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.

Unternehmertreffen auf dem Campus Kamp-Lintfort. Auf Einladung des Unternehmerverbands trafen sich Institutionen und Firmen um Geschäftsbeziehungen zu knüpfen.

Am 21. Mai lud die Hochschule Rhein-Waal Schülerinnen und Schüler, ihre Eltern und Freunde sowie alle Bürgerinnen und Bürger zum Tag der offenen Tür ein. Das abwechslungsreiche, informative Programm, die zahlreichen Mitmachaktionen und nicht zuletzt das sonnige Wetter lockten mehrere tausend Besucher auf den Campus in Kamp-Lintfort.

Eine kürzlich gestartete Untersuchung im Rahmen eines Projektes der Open Knowledge Foundation Deutschland in Kooperation mit dem Labor für IT-Sicherheit der Hochschule Rhein-Waal zeigte, dass der öffentliche Sektor bei der Absicherung der Webseiten schludert.

Master’s students from the International Management and Psychology M.A. programme of the Faculty of Communication and Environment at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences recently concluded a collaborative research project on the personal, social and ecological factors that influence the well-being of people in private households.

In dem Projekt VisDat (Visualisierung statistischer Daten) arbeiteten Studierende der Fakultät Kommunikation und Umwelt eng mit dem statistischen Bundesamt, Berlin zusammen.

Unter dem Motto „100%: Vom Planen ‚grüner‘ Städte“ findet am Donnerstag, 21. April 2016 um 18 Uhr im Rahmen der Vorbereitungen zur Landesgartenschau 2020 ein Vortrag von Prof. Carlow auf dem Campus Kamp-Lintfort statt.

Schülerinnen und Schüler erhalten am 28. April 2016 die Möglichkeit, die Hochschule Rhein-Waal am Girls‘ Day und Boys‘ Day zu besuchen. 

Einmal im Jahr werden im Rahmen der KULTURWERSTATT  NIEDERRHEIN neue Möglichkeiten in der Kulturarbeit diskutiert und Fördermöglichkeiten für regionale Projekte vorgestellt. 

Studierende der Hochschule Rhein-Waal entwickelten im Rahmen eines Semesterprojekts neue kreative Ideen für die Kinderstiftung „Lesen bildet”.
