Professor Dr Timo Kahl (Head of the E-Government degree programme and professor of Business Information Systems) and Professor Dr Frank Zimmer (Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics) organised the day in cooperation with the Local Data Processing Center KRZN, IT.NRW and Computacenter AG & Co. oHG. The audience at the Audimax on the Kamp-Lintfort campus enjoyed numerous interesting presentations and welcomed renowned guests from the world of politics and business. Approaches, projects, but also critical aspects and problems in the development of digitisation programmes for schools and the use of new media in teaching were presented and discussed. The programme was moderated by Rainer Ullrich, Associated Partner at Glaser Lemke. A presentation of current student projects accompanied the event.

"The event was again a great success. We are particularly proud of the multi-faceted programme. There were numerous interesting lectures, that gave insights into a wide range of topics from infrastructure to the use of digital media in the classroom. Our students were also able to impress the audience with their presentations of selected project results", said Professor Kahl.
