Centre for Internationalisation and Languages

The Centre for Internationalisation and Languages is the central hub for the international activities of Rhine-Waal University with regard to internationalisation, language skills and intercultural communication. In line with the international character of the University’s daily practice since its founding in 2009, the current Strategic Development Plan confirms the objective to incorporate internationality in all its areas of activity.

Accordingly we advise the Executive Board and academic Departments on the development and advancement of internationalisation initiatives and assist in their organizational implementation. The Centre for Internationalisation and Languages coordinates exchange as well as funding opportunities such as the DAAD’s scholarship programs PROMOS and STIBET or the ERASMUS Program of the European Union for the University’s students, staff and researchers, next to supporting international exchange students from all over the world while studying one or more semesters at Rhine-Waal University. We are the first point of contact for all matters related to international mobility and university partnerships. For the purpose of promoting intercultural competences the Centre for Internationalisation and Languages offers a wide range of language courses as well as self-study facilities for all members of the University and exchange students from partner universities.
