Kamp-Lintfort research finds international recognition

Both the Federal Association of German Employers (BDA) and U.S. elite universities show great interest in the current research of Dr. Nicki Marquardt, Professor of Cognitive, Industrial and Organisational Psychology at Rhine-Waal University.

The topic of safety culture is increasingly attracting interest in science and practice. As an expert in this field, Professor Dr Marquardt now had the opportunity to present his latest research results on the transformation of safety cultures to leading representatives of major German companies such as the DAX corporations at the Confederation of German Employers (BDA). In particular, industries with a high risk potential, such as the chemical industry, emphasised the topicality and relevance of his research for their own corporate safety culture.

Professor Marquardt subsequently presented a paper on this very topic at the virtual "The Art and State of Safety Journal Club" on October 27 to scientists from U.S. research institutions and universities. The Safety Journal Club includes safety researchers from more than 20 research institutions, including several elite universities such as Stanford, Berkeley and Yale. "I am very happy to present my research to an interested audience of experts. This underlines that the research of Rhine-Waal University is not only nationally but also internationally respected by leading research institutions and companies," emphasises Professor Marquardt.
