Professor Dr Klaus Hegemann re-elected as Dean of the Faculty
The Faculty of Communication and Environment at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is happy to share that Professor Dr Klaus Hegemann has been re-elected as Dean. The Faculty Council confirmed his reappointment during its meeting on 14 May 2025.
Professor Hegemann has been leading the faculty for the past three years and has played a key role in shaping its direction – both in teaching and research, as well as in developing the faculty as a whole. Under his leadership, many new projects have been launched, and interdisciplinary collaboration has continued to grow.
“I’d like to thank the Faculty Council for their trust,” said Professor Hegemann after the vote. “The next few years offer great opportunities for us – to keep developing our faculty’s academic profile, to strengthen our structure, and to deepen our engagement with society and the region. I’m looking forward to what lies ahead – and to continuing this journey with my colleagues.”
