On April 16, 2024, the series of company evenings at the Green FabLab in Kamp-Lintfort continued with the theme "New Work - Shaping Work!" A series of keynote speeches provided diverse perspectives on the topic.

Professor Dr. Georg Hauck discussed the significance of appreciation within the context of New Work, emphasizing its positive effects on work culture and outcomes. Professor Dr. Kathrin Weidner and Raphaela Wolberg (ALTANA AG) shared their experiences and insights into implementing New Work in theory and practice, highlighting collaboration opportunities between universities and businesses. Johannes Pfeifer addressed the crucial topic of psychological safety and fostering an open culture of learning from mistakes, which is essential for the successful implementation of New Work.

Following the keynote speeches, participants had the opportunity to discuss the presented topics. Informal exchanges were encouraged and deepened over a buffet and beverages, fostering an atmosphere of openness and curiosity. Additionally, the event featured the travelling exhibition "Fathers in the Lower Rhine Region," providing further inspiration and reflection on gender roles and the balance between work and family life.
