The Faculty of Communication and Environment congratulates its graduates

With a ceremonial farewell in the Audimax, the Faculty of Communication and Environment honoured about 116 graduates on October 20, 2023. Embedded in a festive programme, they received their symbolic certificates with best wishes for their professional futures. Even the pouring rain could not spoil the festive mood.

As a representative of the Executive Board, Prof. Dr. Jörg Petri, Vice President for Studies, Teaching and Continuing Training, gave the welcoming speech. Dean Prof. Dr. Klaus Hegemann moderated the festive afternoon.Vice-President for Studies, Teaching and Continuing Training





Three graduates were awarded the prize for outstanding theses by the Förderverein der Hochschule Rhein-Waal e.V., represented by Julia Nepicks. Students from left to right: Marjahan Akter (Information Engineering and Computer Sciences, M.Sc.), Hannah Teschke (Mobility and Logistics, B.Sc.) and Can Karsten (International Business Administration, B.A.) were honoured.

Andreas Kaudelka, President of the supporters associations Förderverein Campus Camp-Lintfort e.V. also presented its annual awards and honoured a total of 16 graduates on the best degree in their respective degree programme.

After that Lisa Waberg and Ali Ayan from the Alumni Network informed about their offers in a relaxed quiz.

The event was musically accompanied by HSRW student Gregor Schwarz, who received great applause for performing his guitar songs.

After the official ceremony and before the champagne reception in the foyer, it was time for the traditional group photo with hat tossing.
