Nitrate Scouts workshop at Haus Riswick
The Nitrate Scouts project team develops and tests educational modules on the topic of nitrate in groundwater in cooperation with various stakeholders. On a visit to Haus Riswick, agricultural business management students from the Kleve Technical College for Agricultural Economics got the chance to apply new teaching materials that had been developed by the project team and formulate suggestions.

Numerous pupils took the opportunity to examine nitrate concentrations in the Kleve and Wesel region by using LANUV data and enjoyed a groundwater game, where they had to yield crops without nitrate getting into the groundwater.
