"Sneak" into our Lectures

The hardest part for many people is often deciding which study programme is the right one for them. That’s why the university came up with its Sneak Study programme. From 14 to 25 October 2019, pupils will have the chance to “sneak” into a variety of regular university lectures and learn all about Rhine-Waal University.

For many pupils, studying at a university is often a vague idea for the future. It’s only when they start their first year of studies do they really learn what studying at a university entails. Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences strives to change that with its Sneak Study programme, which lets local pupils “sneak into” regularly scheduled lectures and get an early, first-hand look at university from the inside of a classroom.

Not only can pupils sit in on real university lectures, they also get the chance to participate in question and answer sessions with enrolled students on October 14, at 11:00 a.m. on Kamp-Lintfort Campus, Building 03 | 2nd Floor | Room 130. Here they will learn more about university and campus life, what’s expected of them and how they can best prepare. There will also be a free lunch for all participants. As a result, future students get a realistic look at what it’s like to study at an innovative, interdisciplinary and international university of applied sciences.

Interested pupils are advised to sign up as quickly as possible by sending an e-mail to schnupperstudium@hochschule-rhein-waal.de.
