E-Government students present their projects at the annual Conference of Staff Council Representatives

The annual Conference of Staff Council Representatives in Kamen focussed on Change-Management and E-Government in public administration. Experts in the fields of politics and science as well as union members were invited to discuss the topic of digitalization with administrative officials. The programme was accompanied by a number of interesting workshops.

Prof. Dr Timo Kahl, Head of the E-Government degree programme at Rhine-Waal university, had been invited to give an insight into innovative students' projects like a future-oriented workspace, which was developed as part of an interdisciplinary project in cooperation with the Ministry for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration and presented by Felix Gerwers (E-Government student).

All students' projects presented at the conference were of great interest to the audience and encouraged the dialogue. Among those visiting the booth was the CIO of NRW Hartmut Beuß, who listened to the presentation of a project on the visualisation of Open Data.

The conference was a good chance to develop concepts for the continued implementation of digitalisation.
