Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day 2015

Boys Day an der Hochschule Rhein-Waal.

On April 23, 2015, pupils from around the region will have the opportunity to participate in Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. This event is designed to give young people valuable glimpses into degrees and career paths that they might not have considered for the future.

As part of a semester project, postgraduate students from the International Management and Psychology degree programme at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences investigated the behaviour of consumers in NRW with regard to dairy products.


Sneak Study 2015 at Rhine-Waal University

Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is once again opening its door to pupils and future students with its Sneak Study programme. Between March 30 and April 10, 2015, pupils can get a ‘sneak peek’ of our lectures and seminars in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort and learn a bit about what it’s like to study at a university of applied sciences.

Eröffnung des neuen Campus Kamp-Lintfort

Kleve/Kamp-Lintfort: Bewegende Momente erlebten die rund 500 geladenen Gäste,  Professoren, Mitarbeiter und Studierenden der Hochschule Rhein-Waal in den neuen Räumlichkeiten, als mit einer feierlichen Zeremonie die Neubauten der Hochschule Rhein-Waal in Kamp-Lintfort eröffnet wurden. „Mit der feierlichen Eröffnung unseres neuen Campus beginnt ein neuer Abschnitt für das Hochschulleben in Kamp-Lintfort“, freut sich die Präsidentin der Hochschule Rhein-Waal, Professorin Dr. Marie-Louise Klotz.

Die Natur als Vorbild

Am 19. März 2014 geht die Kinder-Uni Hochschule Rhein-Waal bereits in die dritte Runde! Zum Start geht Prof. Dr. William Megill, Professor für Bionik, in seiner Vorlesung kindgerecht der Frage nach: „Was weiß die Natur über Maschinenbau?“ Der Eintritt ist kostenfrei.

In 2014, the Faculty of Communication and Environment will start its cooperation with the ”PAN Kunstforum Niederrhein” in Emmerich. The cooperation aims at fostering arts at a regional level, giving a fresh boost to culture and using synergies for knowledge exchange.
