4th E-Government University Day has been a great success

The audience at the Audimax on the new campus enjoyed numerous interesting presentations and welcomed renowned guests from the world of politics and business.

The 4th E-Government University Day on the 23rd of October 2014, organised by the Faculty of Communication and Environment at Rhine-Waal University, has again been a great success. Insightful speeches by e.g. Hartmut Beuss, CIO NRW or Hans-Josef Fischer, IT.NRW on this year’s topic “E-Government – Designing Tomorrow’s Administration Today” were followed by a panel discussion focussing on career opportunities for E-Government graduates. Ideas on future career paths could also be found at different information booths around the Audimax where businesses and cities presented themselves and tried to recruit students. “This year’s event has again been very informative and fruitful. We are definitely going to host another E-Government University Day in 2015,” said Prof. Dr Ingeborg Schramm-Wölk, Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Environment.
