The "Weeks of Study Orientation" from 11 January to 7 February 2025 allow you to explore various topics related to choosing your degree programme. It’s a great chance to get answers to questions about selecting a programme, funding your studies, the application process, and admission requirements.

Would you like to apply for the Bachelor's degree programme in Information and Communication Design? Do you still have questions about your portfolio? We will be happy to address these during our online sessions on Jan. 28 and April 1, 2025 at 6 pm. 

On 18 December 2024, Professor Dr Hans-Jörg Schulze LL.M. delivered his inaugural lecture as the first honorary professor at the Faculty of Communication and Environment at Hochschule Rhein-Waal. In their opening remarks, the President of the University, Professor Dr Oliver Locker-Grütjen, and the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr Klaus Hegemann, praised the long-standing and close collaboration between Professor Dr Schulze and the institution.

The final event of the "Research Volunteering Programme Art Museums NRW" took place in the Aula of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. The event was opened with a greeting from Ina Brandes, Member of the State Parliament and Minister for Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia. Professor Dr-Ing. M.A. Ido A. Iurgel and Professor Christian Stindl, both from Hochschule Rhein-Waal, participated in a panel discussion, presenting their academic contributions to the interdisciplinary collaboration project "Joseph Beuys and National Socialism – A Laboratory" to the expert audience.
