The Faculty of Communication and Environment cordially invites all prospective students, and the just curious to its Open Day on June 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Kamp-Lintfort. Let us guide you through lecture halls, laboratories and our library, take part in a variety of hands-on activities and find out about the contents of the numerous degree programmes.

The Faculty of Communication and Environment at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is happy to share that Professor Dr Klaus Hegemann has been re-elected as Dean. The Faculty Council confirmed his reappointment during its meeting on 14 May 2025.

Professor Ido Iugel (Head of the Degree Programme) will be happy to answer your questions regarding the curriculum and the admission process on May 12 and June 16, 2025. No registration required.

On May 20, 2025, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (HSRW) welcomed a delegation from its long-standing partner institution, Fitchburg State University (FSU), to its Kamp-Lintfort campus. As part of the visit, a well-attended panel discussion on the topic “Partnership in Times of Global Uncertainty” was held. The event also highlighted the enduring sister-city relationship between Kleve and Fitchburg.
