Shahin Zarinbal offered students valuable insights into his work
Last Monday, Shahin Zarinbal offered students of the degree programme "Information and Communication Design" insights into the design and publication of the “Kraut” magazine and the Portfolio Review.
The „Kraut“ magazine used to be published quarterly accompanying exhibitions at the NRW-Forum Duesseldorf but is now working as a blog-based web magazine.
The Portfolio Review is an event taking place on 1st of February in Duesseldorf as a part of the Duesseldorf Photo Weekend 2014. It is going to offer talented young photographers the chance to present their work to a jury of different photography experts and to get their feedback. The event aims at providing a communication platform where works can be discussed and an active dialog between young artists, editors, photographers, publishers or curators from various established institutions is fostered. It is now the second time it takes place in Duesseldorf.
Apart from being in charge of the organisation of the Portfolio Review, Shahin Zarinbal works as a lecturer of Language & Text at the Faculty of Communication and Environment in Kamp-Lintfort.
