Rhine-Waal University starts cooperation with "PAN Kunstforum Niederrhein"
In 2014, the Faculty of Communication and Environment will start its cooperation with the ”PAN Kunstforum Niederrhein” in Emmerich. The cooperation aims at fostering arts at a regional level, giving a fresh boost to culture and using synergies for knowledge exchange.
One of the first activities will be a design project, carried out by “Information and Communication Design” students of the fourth semester. Michael Pichler, newly appointed Professor of Communication Design, describes the challenge on behalf of all participants: “It is striking to see that the region between Emmerich, Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort has got such a diverse cultural heritage and is so activity-dense. The cooperation tries to link a new academic environment with a cultural institution, supporting collaborative working and knowledge exchange.
