E-Government students present their projects at the information fair on Digitalisation in Wesel

With its fair the Wesel district administration aimed at informing employees about current developments in administrative technology. The varied programme included lectures on the subject of digitisation as well as numerous stands where visitors had the chance to personally test the systems and technologies presented. The representatives of the E-Government programme were happy about the invitation and the opportunity to present their innovative student projects.

These included the interdisciplinary project "Change Management in Public Administration", which dealt with a prototype for the workplace of the future. The project presentation allowed visitors to test piloted versions of programmes for digital file management on the spot. The project "Digitales Bürgerbüro", on the other hand, showed an extension of Amazon Alexa which had been developed especially for administration purposes. The extension enables citizens to request information about the services of the citizen's office, for example on how to apply for a new identity card.

Both projects and the information on this year's E-Government University Day met with great interest among visitors.
