Faculty team competes in Mudrace
Great weather and a sold-out event welcomed the team of the Faculty of Communication and Environment on September 9, 2023, at Airport Weeze. Nine members and friends of the faculty took on the challenge of a six-kilometre run and 17+ obstacles.
As mud conquerors, they were not deterred by the slippery hurdles, the tons of mud and the surprisingly high temperatures for mid-September and gave it their best shot. They succeeded all the more because team spirit and fun were the focus. The tougher the conditions, the more the participants helped each other. Thus, the team was able to cross the finish line satisfied and "almost unscathed".
The participants' concluded that the event not only offered a unique opportunity to overcome physical and mental limits but also promoted team spirit and created friendships.
