Refresher courses at the Faculty of Life Sciences

Would you like to refresh your knowledge before starting your studies?

From September 16 to 20.2024 the Faculty of Life Sciences is offering face-to-face bridge courses in math, physics and chemistry. Registration deadline is September 12, 2024.

New Educational Bridge


In a move to expand global educational opportunities, Rhine-Waal University's Faculty of Life Sciences has forged a new partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the College of Agriculture, Science, and Education (CASE) in Kingston, Jamaica. This agreement opens doors to enhance educational and practical experiences for students and lays the foundation for future collaboration. Read more.

Focus on sustainability and CSR

Students from the departments of Quality, Environment, Safety and Hygiene as well as Bio Science and Health have carried out a project on sustainability in the field of in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) in cooperation with the medical device company servoprax. The project aimed to analyse the importance of sustainable practices and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for brand image and corporate success. Read more.

Deepen knowledge and experience health awareness - a visit of the leading international trade fair for fitness and health in Cologne

Students on the "Health Sciences and Management" Master's programme at Rhine Waal University of Applied Sciences gained valuable insights into the latest trends and developments in the health industry at the leading international trade fair FIBO in Cologne. Accompanied by leading experts, they experienced innovative specialised lectures and training methods that mark the transition from peak performance to everyday health awareness. Read more.
