First-year students from the Computer Science degree programmes “Media Communication and Computer Science" and "E-Government" at the Faculty of Communication and Environment in Kamp-Lintfort once again participated in the annual IT competition for first-year students. Here are the winners!

"University meets business" – Unternehmerkreis visits Rhine-Waal University

The Unternehmerkreis (Business Network) Kamp-Lintfort gathered on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, for the "University Meets Business" event on the campus of Rhine-Waal University. The evening provided an excellent opportunity for guests to exchange ideas and perspectives, highlighting once again the importance of collaboration between academia, business, and the local community.

Successful Exchange on Digital Transformation

On November 7, 2024, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences hosted the 9th E-Government University Day, followed by the graduation ceremony for the E-Government degree programme. The event, centred around the theme "Transformation through AI: How intelligent should public administration be?" and brought together over 220 participants from academia, public administration, and business. A highlight of the event was the participation of Ina Scharrenbach, Minister for Home Affairs, Local Government, Construction, and Digitalization of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, who emphasized the crucial role of qualified young professionals for the digital transformation in public administration in her opening speech.

Rhine-Waal University Strengthens Partnership with Fitchburg State University

From October 13 to 18, a delegation from Rhine-Waal University visited Fitchburg State University to deepen cooperation between the two institutions and further strengthen the longstanding sister-city relationship between Kleve and Fitchburg. 

The Faculty of Communication and Environment congratulates its new graduates

Brilliant autumn sunshine, beaming faces: With a ceremonial farewell in the fully packed Audimax, the Faculty of Communication and Environment honoured 121 graduates on October 11, 2024 in Kamp-Lintfort. Embedded in a festive programme, they received their symbolic certificates with best wishes for their professional futures.
