Landtag MPs from the CDU visit Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences

President Naderer (pictured right) welcomed a delegation of members of the North Rhine-Westphalian parliament (Landtag) from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) to Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences on 28 July 2017. The delegation included (f.r.t.l.) Charlotte Quik MdL, Margret Voßeler MdL and Dr Günther Bergmann MdL, who met with President Naderer to discuss current and future developments of the University, particularly in Kleve.

A group of Rhine-Waal University delegates go on excursion to Kyrgyzstan

26 representatives of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, including 20 students, visited Kyrgyzstan from 10-18 June 2017. The main purpose for the trip was to foster the development of strong international ties between Rhine-Waal University and two universities located in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. ‘Girls only!’ is the tagline of the STEM Summer School taking place at Kleve Campus from 21-25 August 2017. By organising this complimentary programme, Rhine-Waal University hopes to encourage female pupils ages 14 and up to develop an interest in technical and scientific subjects and study programmes.
