General Consul of India visits HSRW to discuss collaborative opportunities

General Consul of India, Dr Amit Telang, recently visited Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve on 8 November 2021. He met with Professor Dr Tatiana Zimenkova, Vice-President for Internationalisation and Diversity, and Dr Joost Kleuters, head of the International Center, to discuss collaborative opportunities between HSRW and the consulate general of India in Frankfurt. Research into safety cultures: HSRW professor’s results generate worldwide interest

The focus of Marquardt's research is on people, because it is human beings, from aviation to the chemical industry and more, who ultimately ensure safety. But it is each person’s largely subconscious basic assumptions that ultimately influence their thinking and actions. As a professor of cognitive, industrial and organisational psychology, Dr Nicki Marquardt, in his most recent research, examined the extent to which these basic assumptions can be changed by classic training measures. Water damage in Life Sciences building

A leak occurred in building 10 of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve on Saturday evening, 6 November 2021. The facilities of the Faculty of Life Sciences were affected, particularly the 2nd floor where the leak occurred in a laboratory. Read more

Start-up Week Germany 2021 – online programme open to anyone interested

This year, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is once again actively participating in Germany's largest campaign to strengthen entrepreneurship and the start-up spirit: Start-up Week Germany will take place from 15 to 19 November 2021. The aim of this week is to inspire young people to think and act entrepreneurially, to promote corresponding skills, to awaken creativity and to enable an exchange of ideas, experiences and opinions on the topic of start-ups and self-employment.
