Christmas Lecture

The famous Christmas lecture organised by the Faculty of Technology and Bionics took place again this year for the first time after a long break. In the university’s well-attended main lecture theatre, (from left to right) Prof. Dr William Megill, Prof. Dr Neil Shirtcliffe and Prof. Dr Alexander Struck demonstrated experiments involving plenty of fire and smoke, set off loud bangs and sent a rocket flying across the lecture theatre.

They also directed plenty of humorous jibes at science deniers and current political developments around the world.
