A dual study programme allows you to combine theory and practice right from the start. This offers you many benefits:

A dual degree programme is demanding. You combine vocational training and academic study within a shorter timeframe. This requires motivation, good organisational skills and dedication.
For a dual Bachelor’s degree programme, you need:
- the standard admission requirements for a degree programme
- a training contract with a company
Your vocational training is usually recognised as a Basic intership, provided this is required for your Degree programme.
Dual degree programmes have Open admission.
First, you need to find an apprenticeship that matches your chosen Degree programme. Many apprenticeships start in August. The application process often begins up to ten months in advance.
If your training company supports the dual study programme with Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, you then apply via the Application portal for the dual degree programme.
For enrolment at the start of the semester, you must submit your apprenticeship contract. You can then begin your studies.
