As part of their induction weeks, students on the ‘Engineering for Sustainability’ degree programme visited two local companies.
In Kleve, they toured Ipsen, a manufacturer of hardening furnaces, and KHS, a manufacturer of packaging machinery. This gave the students an insight into the development and manufacture of technical products and provided them with the opportunity to discuss sustainability issues.
