The film will be shown in the towns and villages along the River Niers and will later be available to watch on YouTube.
The film project “Life on the Niers” also showcases some of the work being carried out at the Faculty of Technology and Bionics: Margarete Dytkowicz, a PhD student under Prof. William Megill, provides an insight into the research she is conducting for her doctoral thesis. She is studying the arrival of beavers at the Untere Nuthseen and shows Goch-based filmmaker and director Sascha Junghenn how she documents and analyses the beavers’ behaviour in the Kleve nature reserve.
