Graduates from the faculties of Life Sciences and Technology and Bionics celebrated the successful completion of their studies together in the Audimax.

Prof. PD. Dr.-Ing. Sylvia Moenickes and Prof. Dr. Neil Shirtcliffe hosted the joint graduation ceremony and welcomed not only the graduates but also their families and friends. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Kisters, Vice-President for Research, Innovation and Transformation, offered his congratulations on behalf of the university’s Executive Board. The deans of the two faculties, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Nissing and Prof. Dr. Peter Scholz, asked the graduates to stay in touch with their lecturers and to keep them informed about their next steps in life.

Gregor Schwarz, a student at the university, brought the ceremony to a close with a musical performance.

The coordinator of the Alumni Network, Lisa Waberg, invited the graduates to join the network with a fun quiz, whilst Björn Flockau, a research assistant at the Faculty of Life Sciences, delivered a science slam in which he reminded the former students to take part in the graduate survey.
