There are still places available for the MINT Girls’ Summer School at the Faculty of Technology and Bionics, taking place from 19 to 23 August 2019 on the Kleve campus. Girls aged 16 and over who are interested in science-related topics can take part free of charge.
The programme for the five-day adventure camp includes many interesting and hands-on workshops on topics such as bionics, thermodynamics, mathematics, robotics and much more. The pupils will learn how to design a robot modelled on nature, make their own compostable film, construct a 3D model using a mathematical function, and assemble a compact Stirling engine and a soapbox car. The Summer School is complemented by a sports programme and group visits to the canteen. Student tutors accompany the pupils and give them an insight into their everyday life on campus.
