Cloud Resilience Lab

In our Cloud Resilience Lab, research and teaching activities focus on resilient cloud and hybrid infrastructures. Since 2023, the lab has been led by Professor Dr Patrick-Benjamin Bök and Professor Dr Matteo Große-Kampmann. Research at the lab aims to explore and develop innovative and resilient solutions in the realm of distributed and integrated cloud systems. At the same time, the latest findings are taught in laboratory courses. Eight researchers are currently working on resilient concepts, methods, and tools for digital systems.

Equipment

  • 25 workstations (Apple Silicon/arm64) for developing client, mobile, and cloud applications.
  • Server systems for testing methods and concepts within the context of resilient distributed systems.
  • Virtualized network infrastructure for the exploration and testing of dynamically controlled computer and cloud networks.
