Timon te Kempel has been awarded the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences Friends’ Association’s graduate prize for the best degree in the Faculty of Technology and Bionics, in recognition of his Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Systems Engineering.
Timon te Kempel wrote his Bachelor’s thesis, supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Nissing, whilst working at the Emmerich-based company Probat; it was entitled “Development of a digital twin to determine and predict the process dynamics of a P05III drum roaster”.
Julia Nepicks, the managing director of the Friends’ Association, presented the graduate with the prize money of 1,000 euros and, in her laudatory speech, highlighted not only his excellent academic performance but also his collaboration with a local company.
