Anyone who would like a taster of what it’s like to study at the Faculty of Life Sciences is warmly invited to take part in our ‘GET A TASTE OF STUDYING’ event during the Easter holidays, from 14 to 25 April 2025! Further details can be found here.
From 14 to 25 April 2025, the Faculty of Life Sciences will be offering an insight into its wide range of Bachelor’s (B.A., B.Sc.) and Master’s (M.Sc.) degree programmes. Those interested can attend engaging lectures and gain an insight into the course content.
On Monday 14 April 2025, for example, there will be an opportunity to explore the Agricultural Economics and Farm Management programme (Agribusiness B.A., 2nd semester) and learn more about the business dynamics of the agri-food sector, ranging from the fundamentals of farm management and production economics to strategic budgeting and entrepreneurship. At the same time, the ‘Genetics and Molecular Biology’ lecture (Bioengineering B.Sc., 2nd semester) offers fascinating insights into the world of DNA, genetic engineering and state-of-the-art molecular tools. Further insights are offered by the modules on auditing (Quality, Environment, Safety & Hygiene B.Sc., 4th semester), which provide further insights into the dynamic world of auditing, and Biochemistry (Bio Science and Health B.Sc., 2nd semester), which explores the fundamentals of biomolecules and biochemical processes.
There are also interesting sessions from various semesters of the degree programmes on the following days. On Tuesday 15 April 2025, for example, you can attend the lecture on Rural Development and Sustainable Behaviour (Agribusiness B.A., 2nd semester) or find out about Packaging Technology (Food Sciences M.Sc., 1st semester), which covers the key technologies for food packaging.
In addition to these insights into the Faculty of Life Sciences, the central student advisory service and the faculties in Kleve are also offering exciting programme highlights on studying at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Full details of all events can be found here.
We look forward to welcoming lots of prospective students!
