Graduate survey enters its third round (News)

Graduates who completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017 are invited to take part.

Results from the graduate survey for the 2016 graduating cohort show that two-thirds of all graduates were satisfied or even very satisfied with their studies at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. “These are encouraging figures, but of course we want to improve even further,” says Professor Dr Marion Halfmann, Vice-President for Studies, Teaching and Continuing Education. Students who completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences during the period mentioned and who have not received an email with their personal login details in the last few days are asked to contact absolventenbefragung@hochschule-rhein-waal.de.

The current graduate survey has been underway since the beginning of December. Graduates from the 2017 cohort have until 15 February 2019 to submit their anonymous feedback online. As in previous years, the university’s Central Evaluation Office is collaborating with the Institute for Applied Statistics (ISTAT) in Kassel. This ensures that all data protection regulations are complied with. More than 80 colleges and universities across Germany are taking part in the so-called KOAB Graduate Survey, 31 of which are from North Rhine-Westphalia. 173 graduates – representing 34 per cent of the 2016 graduating cohort – took part in the last graduate survey. Here too, the team at the Central Evaluation Office, led by Vice-President Halfmann, hopes that even more former students will take part in the study this year.
