Around 130 pupils from the region visited the Faculty of Technology and Bionics and, through various workshops, not only learnt what technical subjects are taught at the university, but also gained an insight into student life.
The guests were welcomed this morning by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Nissing, who wished them a pleasant visit and encouraged them to ask the lecturers plenty of questions. During the break, guests from the local area had the opportunity to seek advice from the university’s central student advisory service and talent scouts on choosing a course or, more specifically, on enrolment.
The STEM Festival will continue next year: in the last week before the summer holidays, pupils from Year 8 onwards are invited, and in late autumn, upper secondary school pupils. Further information is available from the zdiZentrum Kreis Kleve.
