In the 2019 summer term, the university is once again offering members of the public the opportunity to attend regular lectures.
Once again, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences is opening its lecture theatres to visiting students for the summer semester. Exciting and practical lectures await those with a thirst for knowledge who wish to further their education in a specific subject area. The courses are taught in German or English across the various degree programmes offered by the three faculties at the Kleve campus and the Faculty of Communication and Environment at the Kamp-Lintfort campus.
In addition to more traditional subjects such as business administration and economics, the Faculty of Life Sciences on the Kleve campus also offers lectures on topics such as ‘Biology of Plant-Based Foods’, ‘Environmental Law’, ‘Hygiene and Cleaning Processes’, as well as ‘Biochemistry’ and ‘Applied Microbiology’. The Faculty of Technology and Bionics at the Kleve campus focuses its lectures primarily on technical subjects, such as ‘Biotechnology and Biodegradable Materials’, ‘Thermodynamics of Gas and Vapour Power Systems’, ‘Biomimetic Science’ and ‘Fluid Mechanics’. At the third faculty on the Kleve campus, Society and Economics, courses cover topics such as ‘Alternative Regional Marketing’, ‘Urban and Cultural Tourism’, ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’, ‘European Union Law’, ‘International Affairs’ and ‘Intercultural Management’.
At the Faculty of Communication and Environment on the Kamp-Lintfort campus, the following lectures, amongst others, are available: “Administrative and Business Processes”, “Water Cycle and Water Management”, “Electromobility” and “Mobility Management and Traffic Control”. In addition, a range of other fascinating subjects are covered, such as “General Psychology”, “International Relations” and “Culture and Diversity”.
