The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences welcomes all new students in the winter semester 2021/22. The University President Dr. Oliver Locker-Grütjen, Katja Kreyenkamp from the AStA's Sports Department, University Sports Officer Sarah Pullich and Christian Schoofs, Head of the Student Affairs Department, received the FISU Attribution Plaque on August 25, 2021. The World University Games will take place in the Rhine and Ruhr region in 2025 and, similar to the Olympic flame, the plaque travels to the various venues and selected universities. More

Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, together with partners in Germany and Europe, has developed Gamelet, a brand new learning software designed to improve the reading fluency of secondary school pupils. Using a media-based, multilingual approach in combination with gamification elements, GameLet will help address deficits in reading skills, multilingualism and media integration. The project is sponsored by the European Union through the programme ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnerships. More
