In the 2019/2020 winter term, the university is once again offering members of the public the opportunity to attend regular lectures, thereby providing them with the chance to further their education in specific fields of study.
In the new winter term, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences is once again opening its lecture theatres to visiting students. Exciting and practical lectures await those with a thirst for knowledge who wish to further their education in a specific subject area. The courses are taught in German or English across the various degree programmes offered by the three faculties at the Kleve campus and the Faculty of Communication and Environment at the Kamp-Lintfort campus.
In addition to lectures on the fundamentals of health and safety at work, quality management and medicine, the Faculty of Life Sciences at the Kleve campus also offers courses such as ‘Microbiology’, ‘Nanobiotechnology’, ‘Current Issues in Agribusiness’, ‘Immunology’ and ‘Human Resource Management’, which are also open to visiting students. The Faculty of Technology and Bionics at the Kleve campus focuses its lectures primarily on technical topics such as ‘Machine Dynamics’, ‘Thermodynamics’, ‘Bioinspired Machine Learning’ and ‘Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering’. The third faculty at the Kleve campus, Society and Economics, offers, for example, lectures on ‘Sociological Aspects of Tourism’, ‘Fundamentals of Educational Science’, ‘International Development Policy’, ‘Organisation and Corporate Development’ and ‘International Human Rights’
At the Faculty of Communication and Environment on the Kamp-Lintfort campus, the following courses are available, amongst others: ‘Fundamentals of Business Administration’, ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’, ‘Introduction to Media Informatics’ and ‘Human-Computer Interaction’. In addition, a range of other fascinating subjects are covered, such as ‘Biological Psychology’, ‘Fundamentals of Biology’ and ‘Fundamentals of Logistics’.
