Library introduction for pupils using Biparcours
The pupils get to know the library’s premises and what it has to offer in a fun way.
They take part in a pre-planned rallye using the free ‘Biparcours’ app. Pupils must install this on their devices beforehand. The tour can be led by library staff or by other guides, for example as part of a campus tour. The pupils compete against each other in small groups of 2–3 and compare their results at the end.
After taking part, pupils will know:
- What the library is used for.
- How to find their way around the library and how to make use of the facilities.
- That they can use the library free of charge.
- How to find the location of a particular book on the shelf.
- How to borrow and return items.
Duration: approx. 30 minutes

Important information for teachers/organisers:
If you wish to lead the tour yourself, please still register it with us. We will provide you with all the necessary information, update the details in the app and check our calendar for any clashes.
We do not currently offer a fixed programme on literary research for pupils. If you are interested, please do get in touch! We will then look into what we can offer you.
