The African Student Union at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences is hosting International Africa Day on 30 May 2018 at the Kleve campus. This annual event celebrates Africa’s diversity and culture through a range of activities, talks and information sessions.

This year’s event is themed ‘Rethinking Africa’. It will begin at 1.30 pm and run until 4.00 pm with a panel discussion featuring lecturers and various guest speakers – including the Nigerian Ambassador to Berlin, Mobolaji Sakirat Ogundero, and the Dutch-African poet Onias Landveld – in the Audimax (Building 1, ground floor, Room 010). Afterwards, there will be music, dance and culinary specialities from across Africa in the outdoor area behind the library on the Kleve campus.
