Should you decide on a degree programme now? During the coronavirus crisis, when digital platforms are often the only source of information, choosing a degree programme is particularly difficult. To help with decision-making and researching degree programmes, the Central Student Advisory Service at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences is offering digital workshops.
How do I choose the right degree programme? This question will be the focus of the first session on 3 June. Ina Bushuven, who is in charge of the ‘No Degree Without a Pathway’ project at the Central Student Advisory Service, explains the aim of the workshop: “Together, we’ll look at where each participant is in the decision-making process and provide guidance on how to make a decision that’s right for them personally. I can tell you this much: individual skills and interests are particularly important here.”
The workshop on 5 June will equip participants with the tools they need to carry out well-informed and targeted research. Useful tools and websites will be presented and their functions explained. In addition, the advisers will help participants to organise the wealth of information available, as well as to prioritise and put their individual study choices into practice.
