Learning, communicating and attending meetings this term will be very different; they will mainly take place online. This can be very challenging in various ways, and we’d like to give you some tips on how to make the most of it.
Time Management
Try to organise your time and find a good work-life balance. Our study counsellor, Ms Elena Buksmann, will be happy to help you with this!
IT and technical equipment
Make sure you have access to all the necessary tools. You’ll find the link to our IT resources and tools on the right-hand side of this page.
Our students also have some tips on technical devices for you here.
Exercise
Try to get (or better still: stay) active. You’re welcome to join the university sports programme. This term we’re offering a range of online sports, so you don’t need to be on campus.
Socialising
Get together virtually: form study groups with your fellow students, get together for online games, share your experiences, and have a chat! This might not be as easy as meeting in person, but it’s perhaps even more important. So get in touch with your fellow students or simply contact our student representatives on Facebook.
Prepare for online communication
Online teaching and learning is much easier if we communicate with one another. Prepare well for your lessons and try to get involved. How? You’ll find some useful tips below (just click on the image):
