In the 2020/21 winter semester, the Studium Generale at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences will, for the first time, be offering courses on a variety of topics in digital format. The next course will focus on the topic of justice.
People can feel deeply outraged by unfair or unjust behaviour. The perception of injustice can arise, for example, from the behaviour of a line manager or as a result of organisational policies. What exactly is meant by justice? What are the consequences when people feel they have been treated unfairly? And what options are there for ensuring fairness within organisations? Professor von Richthofen will present findings from social and organisational psychology to answer these questions.

The lecture forms part of the Studium Generale programme and has been designed to make academic research accessible through lectures that are easy for everyone to understand. The lecture programme is aimed at the general public, students, school pupils and anyone in the region with an interest in science, as well as lecturers and staff at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, in line with a commitment to general, universal education. The lecture series also provides a platform for lively discussion on current issues.
