A taster of university life: University offers live insights during the Easter holidays

Choosing the right degree course isn’t always easy and raises lots of questions: Which degree course is right for me? Will I be able to meet the requirements? And will I actually enjoy it? To help you find out, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences is offering school pupils interested in higher education a virtual taster of university life during the Easter holidays with its ‘Get a taste of studying’ programme.

From 29 March to 9 April 2021, the four faculties at the Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort campuses will be holding their regular lectures, tutorials and seminars in both German and English. The programme includes, for example, a logistics quiz, a poster workshop with Julian Peschel – a former student and finalist in the ‘Newcomer’ category of the German Design Awards 2021 – and courses on the digital learning platform Moodle. The Student Advisory Service is also offering prospective students virtual campus tours and a group lunch with our students. This gives prospective students a good overview of the range of courses on offer, allows them to try out a degree programme of their choice and meet lecturers in person – making it easier to decide which course to study.
