From the 2022/23 winter semester, the new dual degree programme run by Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in partnership with the German-Kazakh University (DKU) in Almaty will commence. The three top-performing students on the International Relations degree programme at DKU will have the opportunity to complete the remainder of their studies at the partner university in Germany.
From the 2022/23 winter semester, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences will launch its new dual degree programme in partnership with the German-Kazakh University (DKU) in Almaty. The three top students from DKU studying International Relations will have the opportunity to complete the remainder of their degree at the partner university in Germany. Upon successful completion, the students will receive two degrees: a German degree and a Kazakh degree. Their stay and studies in Germany will be supported by a full scholarship from the Federal Foreign Office.
“The three students will enrich the Bachelor’s programme in International Relations at the Faculty of Society and Economics,” said Prof. Dr Jakob Lempp, who had the honour of personally presenting the first scholarship certificate to Fyodor Neumyvakin, who is currently spending a semester abroad at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
The German-Kazakh University
The private German-Kazakh University is the only German university in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Its aim is to educate students according to the German model, thereby promoting their career prospects and cultural development.
