This year’s Wednesday Academy is themed ‘Business meets Society – a series of lectures on current affairs’. Those interested can look forward to a series of fascinating lectures.
Kleve/Kamp-Lintfort, 6 June 2016: Under the theme ‘Business Meets Society’, the Faculty of Society and Economics is showcasing its work at the Kleve campus. The lecture evenings will address topical issues, examine them from a theoretical perspective and discuss them in a large group setting. Various speakers from academia and the business world will present the latest research findings and practical analyses in their talks, thereby bridging the gap between theory and practice.
In addition to topics in political science, such as ‘The Refugee Crisis and the European Union: Analysis and Perspectives’, the programme also includes lectures on business management, for example on the digital revolution in our society and economy, as well as social science perspectives on the theme ‘Masters of Time’.
Through this lecture series, the Faculty of Society and Economics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences aims to encourage students, teaching staff and, above all, the interested public to engage in a joint reflection on issues relevant to society. The Faculty cordially invites you to the events, which take place at 6 pm on the Kleve campus, Marie-Curie-Straße 1, Building 2, Room 02 EG 012 (Seminar Room 4). Attendance is free of charge and open to all interested parties. No advance registration is required.
