The first ‘DenkWerkStadt’, taking place on 25 October 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm, will focus on the topic of coffee and aims to explore this favourite drink from a wide variety of perspectives.
The idea for ‘DenkWerkStadt’ originated as part of the NUCLEUS project at the Faculty of Technology and Bionics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. The project examines communication management within institutionalised academia and aims to foster a new understanding in universities and other academic institutions regarding communication, learning and exchange with social groups.
The first “DenkWerkStadt”, taking place on 25 October 2018 from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, will focus on the topic of coffee and aims to explore this much-loved drink from a wide variety of perspectives. Professor Dr Kaus Hegemann, Professor of General Business Administration at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, and Tina von Gimborn-Abbing, Director of the Museum of Coffee Technology at Probat-Werke von Gimborn Maschinenfabrik GmbH, will share interesting facts and new insights. Participants will be able to learn interesting facts about the health benefits of drinking coffee, the international coffee trade and coffee roasting – plenty of topics to ensure a stimulating evening.
