The next Children’s University lecture will take place on 14 November 2018 at the Kamp-Lintfort campus. It will look at what can be done to help living creatures find a home in the stream.
In this lecture, Dipl.-Ing. Karl-Heinz Brandt, Chairman of the Linksniederrheinische Entwässerungs-Genossenschaft (LINEG), and biologist Dr Carmen Gallas-Lindemann, also from LINEG, will discuss the organisms that can be seen with the naked eye in bodies of water. They will explain what these animals and plants reveal about water quality. They will also explain what we can do to ensure that our water bodies remain in good condition in the long term.
The event will take place on 14 November 2018 from 5.15 pm to 6.00 pm at the Kamp-Lintfort campus of Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Friedrich-Heinrich-Allee 25, 47475 Kamp-Lintfort, in the Lecture Theatre Centre, Building 01, ground floor, Audimax. Admission is free and no registration is required.
