The student’s poster depicts a tiny chick looking forward to its future life after hatching. Against a red background, the little creature has no inkling of how cruel its short existence will be before it ends up at a fast-food chain. Viviane Brücker illustrates a topical issue in an expressive and provocative manner.
In keeping with the title ‘The Courage to Be Angry’, the posters were required to address a critical, social, political or personal issue and to present it through a powerful visual motif. The aim of these poster projects is to raise awareness of global and social issues and to break down geographical and ideological barriers. The posters are intended to serve as provocative calls to be courageous and to take a closer look.
