Kleve/Kamp-Lintfort, 26 November 2015: Students, employers, university graduates, academics and business representatives nominated a total of almost 1,600 university lecturers for the ‘Professor of the Year 2015’ competition organised by the alumni magazine UNICUM BERUF. Prof. Dr Marion Halfmann, Professor of Marketing and Market-Oriented Management at the Faculty of Society and Economics, was awarded second prize by the alumni magazine UNICUM. Prof. Halfmann is distinguished by her excellent and practice-oriented teaching and research. She is regarded as a ‘coach’ for her students, drawing on her professional contacts to build bridges between the worlds of business and work. The jury therefore regards her as a true trailblazer in the field of careers. “I am delighted to receive this award. A practical approach is extremely important to me, and I am pleased that this clearly comes across in my lectures,” says Prof. Dr Marion Halfmann.
