In 2015, 17 newly appointed professors took up their posts at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences. In addition to the Faculty of Communication and Environment on the Kamp-Lintfort campus, professorships were also filled in the Faculties of Life Sciences, Technology and Bionics, and Society and Economics on the Kleve campus.
Kleve/Kamp-Lintfort, 25 September 2015: Together with the newly elected Executive Board, the President of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Dr Heide Naderer, welcomed the 17 new professors to the university’s Kamp-Lintfort campus.
The vice-presidents outlined the key areas of focus in the fields of teaching, staff development and research to the new members of the University Council. “The involvement of the newly appointed professors is a key factor in decision-making processes and in shaping the university’s direction. I look forward to an exciting and inspiring collaboration,” said the Vice-President for Human Resources and Organisational Development, Diversity, Prof. Dr Georg Hauck.
In addition to information on support services and the university administration, the deans of the Faculties of Life Sciences, Society and Economics, and Technology and Bionics at the Kleve campus, as well as the Faculty of Communication and Environment at the Kamp-Lintfort campus, presented the degree programmes and resources of their respective faculties. “Make the most of this opportunity to get to know your newly appointed colleagues and discuss your main areas of teaching and research.
