Lecture as part of the Studium Generale on the topic “Music as Reflected in German-Dutch Encounters” at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences on 28 April 2016 at 6.30 pm on the Kleve campus and on 12 May 2016 in the Audimax on the Kamp-Lintfort campus
Kleve/Kamp-Lintfort, 22 April 2016: For the first time, a lecture as part of the Studium Generale programme will not be delivered by a single speaker. Manfred Hendricks has succeeded in securing an expert guest speaker for the topic: the German-Dutch author Monika Benndorf will weave together both historical and personal aspects in her lecture and draw parallels with current world events.
The lecture forms part of the Studium Generale programme. The lecture series is aimed at the general public, as well as students, lecturers and staff at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, and presents current topics in a way that is relevant to everyday life and informative. The series also offers the opportunity to engage with topical issues. “We invite everyone, regardless of age, to attend these fascinating lectures,” says the university’s President, Dr Heide Naderer. She also sees the programme as an opportunity to get to know the university’s two campuses.
Attendance at the Studium Generale lectures at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences is free of charge for all members of the public.
